Building on the successful implementation of the S4 template across six core business process areas in the Americas and European region, the client needed to implement S4 into the remaining businesses in 12 months.
A managed test service was essential in consistently implementing the solution within the timeline; any delays relating to testing would have a significant consequence on the overall implementation.
Integrity worked with the client leadership team and key vendors to develop an appropriate operating model for MTS. This included:
- Defining the role and responsibilities of all the parties
- Agreeing on the proper escalation procedures
- Provide training to the project team and key stakeholders
- Setting up appropriate governance
Integrity deployed team leaders in multiple regions to lead the MTS implementation supported by appropriate PMO resources.
Highly collaborative ways of working were achieved through data-driven reporting, supported by an appropriate governance model around the MTS service.
The team scoped, planned, prepared and executed 5,000+ test scripts, managed 500+ defects and helped 400+ test users.
The test phases were completed within the budget and timeline, and several important issues were identified before going live. There were no significant issues identified post-go-live.
The consistent approach helps support the business’s standardisation of the new template and improves overall template compliance. They implemented more risk-based testing focusing on local requirements, not areas tested before.
